Regulation and its Review

The Office of Best Practice Regulation (external link), formerly the Office of Regulation Review, was part of the Productivity Commission but moved to the Department of Finance and Deregulation in late 2007. It reported annually on compliance by Australian Government departments and agencies with the requirements of the Government's Regulation Impact Statements.
