Book production (1992)

Industry Commission inquiry report

This report was signed on 15 October 1992. The report resulted from an Industry Commission public inquiry into the book production industry in Australia in which the existing bounty and other assistance arrangements for book production were examined in the light of reductions in the general level of protection in the economy as a whole. The inquiry was not concerned with the reading and writing of books, nor with book publishing.
