Reform of Building Regulation

Research report

The research report, Reform of Building Regulation was released on 1 December 2004. The report presents the findings of the commissioned study which examined the contribution that reform of building regulation, under the auspices of the Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB), has made to the productivity of the building industry and economic efficiency. In addition, the Commission was asked to examine the scope for further reform to make additional gains. Also see:
