Performance Benchmarking of Australian and New Zealand Business Regulation: Food Safety

Commissioned study

The Productivity Commission received a request from Government to commence the second year of the Performance Benchmarking of Australian Business Regulation on 23 December 2008. This followed agreement by the Council of Australian Governments' (COAG) Business Competition and Regulation Working Group that the Commission should benchmark food safety regulation.

This study is completed. The final research report was publicly released on 22 December 2009.
