The implications of ageing for education policy by Penny Taylor, Patrick Laplagne and Craig de Laine was presented to the Policy Implications of the Ageing of Australia's Population Conference. The conference was convened by the Productivity Commission and the Melbourne Institute of Applied Economic and Social Research, and held in Melbourne on the 18th and 19th of March, 1999.
This paper considers both macroeconomic and microeconomic issues related to population ageing and the implications for education policy.
