Integrated Tariff Analysis System (ITAS)

Program Suite

ITAS consists of a suite of SAS programs that process the primary WTO data, convert it into a standardised form, apply various formulas to tariffs on bilateral trade flows and create a range of data summaries for further analysis. ITAS is organised in a modular form, consisting of six program modules. Appendix D of the Staff Working Paper, An Integrated Tariff Analysis System: Software and Database, contains more information about the ITAS program structure. Selected output files are available from this website. The ITAS programs and output files are available on CD-ROM and can be obtained from the ITAS team.
