Assessing Local Government Revenue Raising Capacity

Commissioned Study

This study, which examined the capacity of different types of councils to raise revenue, the impact of the various revenue sources available to local government, and the impact of any State regulatory limits on local government’s revenue raising capacity, has concluded. The research report was released on 17 April 2008.
