Performance Benchmarking of Australian Business Regulation - Stage 2

Commissioned study

The first stage of the study was concluded with the release of the report, Performance Benchmarking of Australian Business Regulation, on 6 March 2007. On 13 April 2007, COAG considered the Commission's report and agreed to proceed to the second stage of the project to extend over three years.

The current terms of reference reflect this decision and subsequent consultation between governments about the content of the three-year program and the process to be followed.
