About the role

The Productivity Commission is seeking applications from highly skilled Communications professionals to join our Media Publications and Web (MPW) team.

The Assistant Director plays a key role in coordinating the day-to-day operations of the team including setting work priorities and managing workflows. In this varied and interesting role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies and also managing the Commission's website publishing and publication functions. This includes working closely with Commission project teams on communication strategies, publication, and release arrangements for our reports.

We are seeking an experienced person who can take a hands-on approach to the role, with the knowledge and skills needed to supervise and support the work of staff in diverse roles from web publishing to graphic design.
