We are seeking a Review Director to join our Closing the Gap team in our Melbourne or Canberra office. In this role, you will lead and coordinate significant aspects of the three-yearly reviews of progress on Closing the Gap. You will be responsible for:
planning, managing, and contributing to the analytical and quantitative research undertaken by the Closing the Gap team
leading engagement and maintaining working relationships with external parties
implementing culturally safe and appropriate ways of working and engaging with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people
supervising and mentoring staff as required.
Successful applicants will demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories, perspectives and perspectives, and the ability to work well in teams and manage projects, provide strategic direction and leadership, set priorities, organise work, show
initiative and supervise others.
Academic qualifications in a relevant qualification is required, with the demonstrated ability to work and engage with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander organisations and individuals in a fair, inclusive, ongoing, and reciprocal way.
