About the role

We are looking for a strategic thinker and strong communicator, who enjoys working in an issues rich environment to join our Strategic Communications and Engagement group in the role of Director, either in our Canberra or Melbourne office.

Working under the direction of the Assistant Commissioner, you will be responsible for providing editorial leadership and support to the PC, which includes overseeing the production of inquiry and research reports, media releases, opinion pieces, social media and other collateral as required.

You will also work collaboratively with production, design and communications teams to ensure all documents are edited to a high standard and all content is editorially and grammatically sound and that the PC brand voice and standards are maintained.

If you are a highly motivated team player with outstanding skills in writing, editing and creating narrative threads across a range of publications and channels, along with a proven ability to lead and deliver strategic activities and projects, we encourage you to apply.

Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience journalism, editing, copywriting, digital content, user experience design, digital marketing, or strategic communications is essential.
