You can set up a job alert profile to find out about jobs that match your skills as soon as they are advertised.
Employment register
Join our employment register on the Careers Portal to be considered for job opportunities.
You can tell us whether you are interested in casual, non-ongoing (temporary) or ongoing (permanent) job opportunities.
We will share your application with business areas to see if your skills and experiences align with their needs as jobs become available. If they do, the business area will contact you about the potential opportunity.
If you register your interest for non-ongoing (temporary) opportunities, these may be offered for an initial period of up to 12 months, with potential to extend to a total period of up to 18 months.
If you register your interest in ongoing (permanent) employment, we may contact you when ongoing vacancies are advertised. You will need to submit a separate application to apply for jobs advertised as ongoing.
Existing Australian Public Service employees can register now if seeking to transfer to the PC.
