About the role

The Productivity Commission is seeking applications from highly motivated ICT professionals to join our team in the role of Senior ICT Support Officer, to assist staff with ICT requests and operate as the second level support escalation person.

Second level assistance necessitates a thorough understanding of the Commission's ICT needs as well as substantial troubleshooting skills, mostly but not exclusively with Microsoft issues. The key responsibilities include addressing issues and requests, managing priorities, keeping clients and team members informed, and advising relevant ICT management of difficulties or problems and proposing solutions wherever possible. The role also provides a range of core ICT first level support services, with a customer service focus.

Successful applicants will have a Certificate IV in information technology support or another relevant discipline, and demonstrated experience in a similar role. Technical skills across Microsoft’s products with strong trouble shooting skills for second level support is essential.
