The Productivity Commission (PC) made a submission to the ACT Select Committee’s inquiry into the ACT’s fiscal sustainability. The submission draws on the PC's work on the cost and performance of government services across Australia and its inquiry into the 2018 GST distribution reforms.
The PC provided the submission to the inquiry on 11 February 2026 and it was published on our website on 19 February 2026.
