Business reporting requirements

The PC published a paper to assist people to prepare a submission on 9 September 2026.

The paper sets out some of the issues and questions that the PC has identified as relevant at this early stage of the inquiry.

Submission writers are encouraged to identify issues relevant to this inquiry and suggest ways forward. The Commission appreciates evidence in support of any views, such as data, research reports and case studies.

Initial submissions due by 30 September 2026.

The Commission has been asked to analyse non-financial business reporting requirements to identify significant regulatory pain points and instances where the objectives of this reporting could be achieved more efficiently.
