Closing the Gap Review 2026
Call For Submissions
All individuals and organisations are invited to have their say and provide a submission to this review.
The Productivity Commission has published a paper on 7 September 2026 to help people make a submission. The paper outlines the proposed focus of the review and key questions for consultation.
Everyone is encouraged to share evidence and perspectives in a format that is most appropriate for you, including through written storytelling, artwork, research report, case studies or a video.
Initial submissions are due by Monday 26 October 2026.
We are also conducting a short anonymous questionnaire for public servants. This will help us understand what progress is happening within governments and how to support it.
The questionnaire will close Friday 9 October 2026.
