Review of the National Disability Agreement
What we’ve been asked to look at The focus of this study was the National Disability Agreement (established in 2009 and revised in 2012), which relates to the provision of disability services. The Commission reviewed the Agreement, including by examining progress against the performance framework in the Agreement and the extent to which it has supported improved outcomes for people with disability, their families, and carers. This is the first of the Commission’s reviews of nationally significant sector-wide agreements between the Commonwealth and the States and Territories. The Commission consulted broadly and actively with all jurisdictions and other stakeholders.
