The Productivity Commission hosted a seminar by Nobel Prize-winning economist Professor Joseph Stiglitz. The seminar was the first event in the Economic Society of Australia's Eminent Speaker Series, sponsored nationally by PricewaterhouseCoopers and Qantas.
Professor Stiglitz's presentation drew on a report, commissioned by French President Nicholas Sarkozy and chaired by Professor Stiglitz, Measurement of Economic Performance and Social Progress.
