Closing the Gap Review 2026

Call for submissions
Released 07 / 09 / 2026
All individuals and organisations are invited to have their say and provide a submission to this review.
The PC has published a paper to help people make a submission. The paper outlines the proposed focus of the review and key questions for consultation.
Everyone is encouraged to share evidence and perspectives in a format that is most appropriate for you, including through written storytelling, artwork, research report, case studies or a video.
Hi everyone, we're pleased to let you know that submissions are now open for the 2026 Review of the National Agreement on Closing the Gap.
Under the Agreement, governments and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and organisations are working together to break down the entrenched inequality experienced by too many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
We want to hear from you, your experiences, your ideas, and what you think is and isn't working.
Whether you're part of a community, an organisation, or an individual, your voice matters.
Making a submission is simple, and you can share as much or as little as you like. And if you need support to make a submission, there's help available. Just head to our website.
Everything we hear helps build a clearer picture of what's happening on the ground.
To find out more or to make a submission, please visit our website. We look forward to hearing from you.
