Determinants of regional airfares

Public hearings provide participants with an opportunity to respond to the interim report, highlight areas of agreement and identify where they consider the Productivity Commission may wish to reconsider or refine its views. 

While participants may not have finalised their submissions by the time of the hearings, we request that those wishing to appear provide a brief outline of the points they intend to raise in advance.

We will be holding hearings on:

• Friday 27 November 2026
• Monday 30 November 2026
• Wednesday 2 December 2026. 

Hearings will be held online via MS Teams.

Registration for hearings will close on Thursday 19 November 2026.

More information regarding proceedings will be available in due course.

Videos and transcripts of the hearings will be posted on this web page when they become available.

Participants are advised that the proceedings will be recorded and distributed by the PC or members of the media subject to the terms described on our website.
