This technical supplement to the inquiry report was released on 20 February 2015.
The technical supplement provides a model to gauge the potential impacts of policy scenarios recommended in this report - referred to as the Productivity Commission Microsimulation Childcare (PCMC) model.
This technical supplement presents the model and simulation results. It also outlines some caveats and limitations to bear in mind when interpreting the results.
