The study examined the operation and impacts of the zone tax offset and related remote area tax concessions and payments, and provide recommendations on the appropriate form and function of such assistance into the future.

Economic regulation of airports (2019)

The Commission was asked to report on the economic regulation of services provided at airports in Australia's major cities. The inquiry focussed on passenger and freight services.

Compensation and rehabilitation for Veterans

Murray-Darling Basin Plan: Five-year assessment

Under the Water Act 2007 (Cth), the Commission is required to undertake five-yearly assessments of the effectiveness of the implementation of the Basin Plan and water resource plans. This inquiry was the first such assessment.
