What we’ve been asked to look at
This study is a review of the National School Reform Agreement. It examines how well national policy initiatives by the Australian, State and Territory Governments have achieved the objectives and outcomes set out in the Agreement.
On April 7 2022, the Australian Government Minister for Regional Education wrote to the Commission to highlight aspects of the National School Reform Agreement review that are particularly relevant to regional and remote students.

Interim report release
The Commission will seek further information and feedback following the expected release of an interim report.
